Remove your home for safety reasons
If you are a judge, court employee, police officer or prosecutor, take part in the Texas Address Confidentiality Program, or have survived family violence, sexual assault, stalking or trafficking, you can have your home removed from Fclosure. This also covers your family. You don't need to attach anything or explain the foreclosure. It comes down when you submit this form, before anyone reads it, and a person answers within 72 hours.
This form also receives written requests under Texas Government Code chapter 92 and the federal Daniel Anderl Judicial Security and Privacy Act, including those from a court or a judicial agency on someone's behalf.
What happens
- The address and name are removed from our search, map, lists, exports and agent access, along with the recorded notice.
- Its page stops opening, and search engines drop it within days. That timing is theirs.
- Later notices about the same home are kept off the site too, and so are later notices under the same name in that county.
- We email you to confirm, and a person checks the request afterwards.
County records are public and are not ours to change. Your county clerk and appraisal district run their own programs for this.
Prefer email? Write to privacy@fclosure.com. If the listing is simply out of date, because the loan was paid or the home sold, use this form instead. If you are in danger now, call 911. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233.
