Three counties came online this week: Ellis, Montgomery and Rockwall. That takes Fclosure to 37 Texas counties in 13 metro areas, and as of September 1, 2026 the board tracks 5,682 upcoming foreclosure auctions statewide, carrying about $2.06 billion in appraisal-district market value.
Between them, the three new counties add 209 upcoming auctions that were invisible on the site last week. Here is what each one actually holds.
This is general information, not legal or financial advice.
Ellis County: 71 upcoming auctions south of Dallas
Ellis is the I-35E corridor south of Dallas — Waxahachie, Midlothian, Red Oak, Ennis, Ferris — and it is growing fast enough that its foreclosure docket looks like a mid-size county's, not a rural one's. Our first full read found 71 upcoming trustee sales: 36 on the September 1 docket, 29 for October 6, and the first 6 already posted for November 3.
37 of the 71 come out with positive estimated equity, averaging $147,299. The largest property on the list carries a $988,405 appraisal. These are not courthouse-steps scraps; Midlothian and Waxahachie subdivisions built in the last decade dominate the list.
Two things about the source worth knowing. The county clerk posts scanned per-sale-date PDFs — no text layer at all — so every notice on our Ellis County page went through OCR plus a match against the appraisal district's roll. And Ellis Appraisal District runs on a different platform than most Texas CADs, with its own way of writing legal descriptions; teaching the matcher that dialect is what pushed market-value coverage to 84% on day one.
Montgomery County: 101 upcoming auctions north of Houston
Montgomery — Conroe, The Woodlands, Magnolia, Willis — is the largest county we have added since Harris. The clerk files one consolidated notice package per sale month (September's ran 356 pages), which is why aggregators that count documents instead of pages have always undercounted it. Splitting those packages notice-by-notice yields 101 upcoming auctions on the Montgomery County page.
One honesty note: Montgomery's appraisal district publishes no market-value column at all, so valuations there come from a third-party sales-comp source rather than the CAD, and equity estimates are thinner than in DFW — 29 auctions currently show positive estimated equity, averaging $109,159. Where we cannot verify a number, the field stays empty rather than guessed.
Rockwall County: small docket, biggest average equity
Rockwall is the smallest county in Texas by area and it shows: 37 upcoming auctions. But the equity math is the sharpest of the three — 18 of the 37 show positive estimated equity, averaging $211,702, the highest average of any county added this year. Lakeside subdivisions around Rockwall and Fate carry appraisals most DFW investors would recognize from Collin County listings, at auction volumes low enough that few buyers show up.
The full list lives on the Rockwall County page.
What this means for DFW and Houston coverage
DFW on Fclosure now spans 11 counties — Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, Denton, Grayson, Johnson, Kaufman, Hunt, Van Zandt, Rockwall and Ellis — which is the whole commutable metroplex. Houston adds Montgomery to Harris, Fort Bend and Walker. If you work either metro, the DFW and Houston pages aggregate every county in one map.
Every notice on the site links back to the county clerk's own posted document — we aggregate primary sources, not other people's lists. The equity model and its limits are documented on the methodology page.
More counties are queued: the next additions will deepen the Houston and Coastal Bend markets. If there is a county you need that we do not cover yet, tell us — the queue is re-ordered by demand.
